Complete cessation of trade with the russian federation and effective sanctions pressure, — Kira Rudik about significant losses for the russian economy

Economic pressure on russia should be a powerful blow from which the aggressor will not be able to recover. This requires the effective implementation of sanctions pressure and the cessation of trade with russia. This is exactly what should be achieved. Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik thinks so.  «We hope that Donald Trump will put pressure on the EU countries to take steps that are not comfortable for them, but that will fulfill the promises they made. Namely: completely stopping trade with the russian federation (even through third countries) and making sure that the sanctions actually work. Also, the decrease in energy prices will affect the russian economy in one way or another», — explains the leader of «Golos».   It is obvious that these measures in the complex will be able to inflict a tangible economic blow on the aggressor. «It won't be quick, but it's a good direction the new US administration has taken. A drop in the price of oil alone will not suffice. Such economic pressure is needed and will be a tangible blow», — said the MP.
