Ensuring rational contacts is important for both Poland and Ukraine, — Kira Rudik at a meeting with Adam Szłapka
The Polish experience of joining the EU is important for Ukraine, as is the normalization of relations between the two states. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik at a meeting with the Polish Minister for European Union Adam Szłapka. «Poland consistently supports the provision of assistance to Ukraine to counter russian aggression. A meeting of the Council of Europe will be held in a week, where the issue of allocation of EU funds to our country will be decided. Now, it is essential to have real friends who support you in difficult situations and will advocate the decisions you need», — the leader of «Golos» commented. At the meeting, Ukraine's path to the EU and the Polish experience that can be used by our country were discussed. «Poland's path to the EU and its experience are important for Ukraine, as is Warsaw's support for Kyiv during its accession to the European Union. The issue of relations between Ukraine and Poland was separately touched upon. Ukrainians and Poles really have a lot in common and ensuring rational contacts is important for both countries», — the MP summed up.
