The results of the elections to the European Parliament showed that the EU is still strong and united and capable of resisting attempts to interfere in the politics of third parties. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik. «It is important that the EU has remained united, and the new coalition that Ursula von der Leyen is ready to form will only strengthen this cohesion. The future union may include the European People's Party, S&D, and Renew. Europe has shown that it can counter external threats at the political level. However, there is still a lot of work ahead to minimize the risks to the security of the continent that Ukraine is currently protecting», — the MP emphasizes. Kira Rudik also congratulated the European liberals on the incredible results in these elections. «Congratulations to Renew and all ALDE parties for their exceptional results in the European Parliament elections. There was no breakthrough of the populists and the extreme right or left. And this is good for both Europe and Ukraine.
