It is crucial not only to convey the truth about the war and putin's real intentions to our partners, but also to actively oppose the manipulations about Ukraine being spread in the West. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik following her meeting with a delegation of Danish politicians.    «A vivid example of how reality can challenge russian narratives: a delegation of Danish politicians also experienced the night of May 24 alongside the people of Kyiv. These are representatives of sister parties — liberal and social-liberal. Firstly, they saw, heard, and felt how putin «desires peace». They were also able to give a reasoned response to two questions that are being actively spread in the West: when will elections be held in Ukraine, and is it really not being accepted into the EU because of widespread corruption?», — said the leader of «Golos». According to Kira Rudik, the Danish delegation was given answers to all the questions that bothered them.  «It was explained and emphasized: elections in Ukraine are impossible until the end of the war and martial law. All talk of the opposite only fuels the idea that the war may be about to end. The second is corruption. Yes, the state has problems with this, but the process of fighting corruption continues, and Ukraine is showing progress. In no way can this be an excuse not to provide us with weapons to fight. Narratives about Ukraine as a corrupt failed state that desperately needs elections benefit only one country in the world — russia. And we have to counteract this both internally and with partners», — emphasized the MP.
