Kira Rudik Congratulates Portugal on National Day and Thanks the Country for Its Support of Ukraine

Leader of the Holos party and Member of Parliament Kira Rudik congratulated the Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic to Ukraine, Luís Manuel Ribeiro Cabaço, on Portugal Day and expressed gratitude for Portugal's continued support of Ukraine. During the meeting, Rudik thanked the Portuguese government and people for their solidarity with Ukraine, their consistent pro-Ukrainian position, and their financial, humanitarian, and military assistance since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion. Particular attention was given to the support provided to Ukrainians who have sought refuge in Portugal. Currently, around 80,000 Ukrainians under temporary protection reside in the country. "Ukraine deeply appreciates Portugal's support and friendship. We are grateful for the assistance provided to Ukrainian citizens and for Portugal's unwavering commitment to supporting our country during this difficult time," Rudik said. The parties also discussed opportunities for further strengthening bilateral cooperation and deepening relations between Ukraine and Portugal.
