The thesis of supporters of the Republican Party and ardent Trumpists that the USA should not pay for the war in Ukraine has a practical solution — the confiscation of the frozen russian assets. We should work even harder and more actively in this direction. Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik thinks so. «Republicans, in particular the media that support them, have a very clear thesis: «Americans should not pay for the war in Ukraine». And I had and still have an answer to this, which I sincerely believe — putin is the one who should pay for it. For Ukraine to win and for post-war reconstruction. It is possible to achieve it. There are about 500 billion dollars of frozen russian assets in the world. Some of them are allocated to us, but these assets must be completely confiscated and used for the benefit of Ukraine», — explains the MP.
