The only correct and fair way to support Ukraine is to use all the frozen russian assets, — Kira Rudik

Even though Ukraine will receive income from the frozen assets of the russian federation, the actual body of these assets should not be forgotten. Efforts should continue to focus on transferring all immobilized funds of the russian federation around the world. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada.  «From 2025, Ukraine will start receiving interest from the frozen assets of the russian federation. This is 1.5 billion euros in grants per month for three years within the limits of a loan of 50 billion secured by profits from the immobilized funds of russia. This is an important part of international aid. But there is more», — the politician emphasized.  According to Kira Rudik, Ukraine's receipt of all frozen russian assets will be fair and correct not only for our country but also for all of Europe.   «We must not forget about it and work on using the entire amount of frozen assets. This is from 300 to 500 billion euros, this money is mainly kept in the Belgian Euroclear. If we are talking about strengthening the European capacity to support Ukraine, the only correct and fair way is to use the very body of the assets of the russian federation and not allow sanctions to be lifted from them. Therefore, the work of diplomats should be focused on using these funds», — the leader of «Golos» emphasized.
