If the collective West and the USA need results in putting pressure on russia, then it is necessary to finally start confiscating the frozen russian assets. This is something that will really hurt the kremlin. Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik insists on this.  «Attacks from the russian side are a signal that new tools of influence on the aggressor are needed. I am convinced that the confiscation of frozen russian assets is exactly the missing element of influence that can be used soon and that the new administration in Washington is looking for. Even though President Donald Trump has emphasized that he has some «cards up his sleeve», we do not yet see a systematic plan or clear actions from Washington. The existing sanctions were extended because the threat from russia continues both for the USA and the civilized world», — the MP explains. That is why the issue of confiscation of assets of the russian federation should be raised at the highest level.  «In order to get closer to forcing russia to stop attacking Ukraine, you need to use these «cards» that the American president talked about. That is why the confiscation of russian assets and their use for the benefit of Ukraine or the armament of democratic states is an important step, and we call on our allies to do so. We hope that this issue is raised at the highest level», — emphasizes the leader of «Golos».
