This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, leader of the «Golos» party, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik during a meeting with a British politician, leader of the Liberal Democrats Ed Davey in London. «The United Kingdom can now become the security leader of all of Europe, or even more, given the vicissitudes that are taking place in the US on the background of the election campaign. However, leadership requires decisive steps and actions», — the MP stressed.  According to Kira Rudik, British colleagues in the liberal-democratic camp are aware that the aggressor can be defeated only with the help of real actions. So she is counting on progress in the process of freezing russian assets. «The British Liberal Democrats support the current government's policy regarding the russian-Ukrainian war but are convinced that the United Kingdom should do more and think strategically. I completely agree. We are waiting for important decisions on the track of confiscation of russian assets. Especially when there is a shift in this direction in Belgium, Canada, and the US.
