We are determined to work efficiently on the track of confiscation of frozen russian assets, — Kira Rudik at a meeting with the Canadian ambassador to Ukraine

After the decision to provide Ukraine a loan at the expense of the frozen russian assets, work on transferring the assets themselves must continue. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik at a meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc. «Now, when we have the first effective mechanisms regarding the frozen russian assets, we should not forget about the pioneers on this path. It was Canada that became the first country to introduce changes to its legislation as early as 2022, which made it possible to confiscate russian funds and transfer them to Ukraine», — the leader of «Golos» emphasized. Kira Rudik also thanked the Canadian ambassador for her country's efforts and support for Ukraine. «We are grateful to Canada for armed, humanitarian, and financial support. We are determined for further effective work, of which there is still much to come. The main thing is to be united and understand the goal. It is unchanging — to punish the aggressor and ensure a permanent and just peace», — the MP emphasized.
