Kira Rudik delivered a speech at the presentation of the program The Alliance of Her Ukraine Mission 2024 in Sumy region

The coordination of efforts to help the communities of Sumy region was agreed within the framework of the partnership program of the NGO «Land of Freedom Foundation», the Swedish International Liberal Center and the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy. This was reported by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, The Alliance of Her ambassador Kira Rudik during a trip to the Sumy region.  «I met with women in the Sumy region — activists, representatives of charitable foundations and leaders of front-line communities. We discussed the challenges of local self-government, of which there are many today. We agreed that we will use the synergistic connections that we currently have with international partners and women from other regions to help. Because these efforts and these people are worth it», — the politician stressed.  The trip included a presentation of the women's political leadership program «The Alliance of Her Ukraine Mission 2024», as well as meetings with representatives of communities that are suffering the most from russian attacks.  «Sumy region is a real example of fortitude: here the front line is sometimes just a few kilometers away, and people do not just live, but build the future and are confident that they will realize these plans. For example, the construction of the largest shelter in Sumy, which will be in one of the schools, is an illustration of how the joint efforts of everyone in the community gives results and this should be supported», — the leader of «Golos» emphasized.
