The security of Europe requires active actions on the continent, — Kira Rudik

The only solution to strengthening Europe's security and independence from the United States is rapid and large-scale production of weapons. There is an understanding of this on the continent, but action is still very slow. Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik thinks so.  «The security of the continent depends not on the USA, but on Europe itself. European leaders are starting to understand this, but very slowly. And Europe did not use more than three years of full-scale war (when the Ukrainians actually fought for them with their lives) to increase defense spending or significantly increase the production of weapons inside their countries», — explains the leader of «Golos». Ukraine's task remains to convey to the Europeans at all levels that without their help, the war on the continent will not end by itself. «Although this process is underway, it is very slow. And we must make efforts so that the decisions and plans of the Europeans finally begin to be implemented. The war will not be resolved and will not disappear by itself, therefore, it is important to keep the Ukrainian issue on the agenda, and the threat from the east affects everyone. Because Europe seems to have woken up, but has not started meaningful actions», — the MP sums up.
