The enlargement of the European Union and the changes that the EU itself needs were discussed at a meeting with representatives of the sister party Centerpartiet by Ukrainian MP, leader of the «Golos» party, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik in the Swedish Parliament. «Now, as Ukraine is moving towards the European Union, the Swedish Parliament unequivocally supports this movement as well as EU expansion in general. However, we need to outline the vectors of how European politics should move, so that this process passes as quickly as possible and provides new opportunities for all participants: both existing members and new ones», — the MP noted. Also as ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik expressed her support for the member parties of the Alliance on the eve of the elections to the European Parliament. «The year 2024 will be difficult both for us and for Europe.
