The steps to weaken russia and achieve a just peace were discussed by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik at a meeting with the Italian ambassador to Ukraine Carlo Formosa. «The war cannot be paused while the partners have elections. Work on weakening the aggressor must be continuous.  Now Italy presides over the Big Seven and this is an opportunity to strengthen support for Ukraine», — the leader of «Golos detailed. The West and Ukraine must continue systematic work to counter russian aggression, including financial pressure on the kremlin.  «Besides, we touched on the frozen assets of the russian federation and new steps on which we are currently working together, because it is the aggressor who must pay for what they have done. A just peace is based on this, and we are very grateful to Italy for its efforts to achieve this peace», — said the MP.
